Selected the Middle Focus photograph with a selective focus depth as it offers a more compelling composition which feels less obvious than the selective focus depth shot of the Front Figure.

Reflection:

 

Perhaps a combination of lighting and composition, I prefer the Middle Depth of Field as having a bit of the background green helps the foreground pop.
